Tourist Eyes

Fjord Cruise to Rosendal from Bergen with a visit to the Barony of Rosendal!

Romantic Short Trip from Bergen

Hardangerfjorden, Norway’s most famous fjord, is just one of many sights you’ll see on the 2-hour boat ride from Bergen to Rosendal.

When the ship docks in Rosendal, a leisurely 1.5-kilometer walk to Baroniet Rosendal awaits passengers (about 15-20 minutes). On the pier where the boats dock, you’ll find the Folgefonna National Park Center, which has tourist information and maps. There are information maps to be found on the site.

Great Scenery of Rosendal

A trip to Baroniet Rosendal is like taking a time machine back in time. It’s been 250 years and many owners later, but the castle is still a home — just as the previous owners left it in 1927. It’s still a beautiful place to visit.

In Rosendal Garden, you’re free to stroll by yourself. There are two gardens in the 60-acre Victorian landscape park: the 300-year-old Renaissance garden, which has an abundance of roses, and the 60-acre Kitchen & Herb Garden.

Lunch at Rosendal Greenhouse is included in the tour price during the summer.
