With its “palm tree” shape and location in Al Awir, Dubai, the Dubai Palm Park represents the local environment and reflects the UAE’s desert history. The Park’s visitors will think they’ve landed in a tropical paradise, thanks to the abundance of palm trees.
There are about 1400 palm trees (300 different date species) on the Dubai Palm, with palm waste being used in local handicrafts related to the region’s heritage. There’s also a falaj, lounging areas, a kids’ play area, a lake, and other features in the park, too.
